Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Foresight Planner (the "Service"), operated by Multiverse Arc Inc.("we," "us," or "our"), a Canadian corporation. By signing in to or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Not investment advice

The Service is an educational and informational tool. It produces projections, scenarios, and Monte Carlo simulations from numbers you enter. It is not personalized investment advice and is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, fund, asset class, or financial product.

No portion of the Service's output should be relied on as a recommendation. Using the Service does not create a fiduciary or advisor-client relationship between you and Multiverse Arc Inc. For investment decisions, consult a financial adviser registered with your provincial securities regulator (in Canada) or the appropriate regulator in your jurisdiction.

Not tax advice

The Service performs illustrative tax calculations (including estimates of RRSP, TFSA, CPP, and OAS interactions, withdrawal sequencing, and marginal-rate effects) based on the inputs you provide and our current understanding of applicable tax rules. These calculations are not a substitute for advice from a Chartered Professional Accountant or other qualified tax professional. Tax rules change, your circumstances are unique, and small input errors can produce materially different results. Verify any tax-relevant figure with a professional before relying on it.

Tax and government-benefit modeling is currently available for Canadian residents only. If you select any other country of residence, the Service produces a pre-tax (gross) projection that does not account for income tax, capital gains, or government benefits in your jurisdiction. Treat those projections as illustrative, before-tax figures only.

No guarantee of results

Historical scenarios and Monte Carlo simulations do not predict and do not guarantee future results. Past investment performance is not indicative of future performance. Simulation outputs are probabilistic estimates derived from historical data and the assumptions you supply; actual future outcomes may differ materially from anything shown.

Beta quality and accuracy disclaimer

The Service is currently in beta. It may contain errors, bugs, missing features, or incorrect calculations, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. You are responsible for independently verifying any number the Service produces before making any financial decision based on it.

Your responsibilities

• Accurate inputs. Results depend on the inputs you enter. You are responsible for entering accurate balances, ages, income, expected returns, and other parameters.
• Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is not directed to minors.
• Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you sign in with.
• Lawful use. Do not use the Service to violate any law, infringe any third-party rights, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• No automated extraction. Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, or use any automated means (bots, scripts, or other programmatic access) to extract, copy, or accumulate simulation results, projections, or other data from the Service, whether through the user interface, an API, or any other interface, and whether or not you are signed in. Do not systematically query the Service to reconstruct, replicate, or build a substitute for any part of it. Automated access for these purposes is not authorized and constitutes unauthorized access to the Service.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, content, and methodology documentation, is owned by Multiverse Arc Inc. and protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the plan inputs you enter; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to process those inputs solely to operate the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multiverse Arc Inc., its directors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, savings, investment returns, or data) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, whether in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Multiverse Arc Inc. from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or in violation of applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and governing law) will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The version above changes when the Terms materially change. Continued use of the Service after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; we may also re-request your consent in-app.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
